Our aim: to improve support for South Asian people who are struggling with drug or alcohol use.

Discussions with South Asian community members, drug and alcohol support services and Sikh, Hindu, and Muslim faith leaders began in December 2024.

In May 2026 the project received funding from the Society for the Study of Addiction, through the Addiction Healthcare Goals flagship research leadership programme.

South Asian people who are struggling with drug or alcohol use, and their families, will stay at the heart of this project.
